CASE NR.3

FONDATION LUMA

Jakob Kudsk Steensen

Arles, France 2021

In 2020, the LUMA Foundation welcomed Jakob Kudsk Steensen, an artist who works on environmental storytelling through 3D animations and immersive sound installations. He creates poetic interpretations of little-known natural phenomena by collaborating with field biologists, composers, and writers. His projects are based on extensive fieldwork.

For this artist, we created floors inspired by the soils of the Camargue, with intense red and green colors and salt efflorescence.
